When I arrived the hotel I learned that my reservation had changed with another hotel owned by same person. so surprised and worried. room was good then I expected. |

Best thing about booking at Arta hotel, we didn't stay there. They sent us to their sister hotel (Claridge). If this happens - take it, nicer rooms, closer to metro, fridge, lift etc. We did go back to Arta for last 2n in Athens, horrible room, leak in bathroom, noisy pipes from other floors through our room, dangerous stairs @ 45deg slant (no lift). After agreeing price, tried to overcharge us on departure. |

We stayed in Arta hotel for two nights in July 2008. We picked because of really good location. It was a walking distance to main tourist attractions. The staff was very friendly and free internet access was a plus. The place was rather clean but very old. It definitely needs remodeling and upgrades! |

Cold water, but airconditioning. Not a great area, I was followed home by a few shady characters. Nice staff. |

old furniture and facilities, noisy in the morning; good reception, silent at night, quite clean; worth the price paid. |

Our room was dull and stuffy, having just one small window which looked out onto a concrete wall a few feet away, and we couldn't find out how to make the air conditioning work. Howevere, it was clean, cheap (for Athens) and central, and staff were very friendly so we were reasonably happy. |
