I have stayed in this hotel on 28th September, trusting that the information posted on reservation site Holiday-in Athens, is correct, I checked in on 29th afternoon, (1) The reception, quality is low, no informative information, on the hotel neither people who welcome the guest, I got of Taxi and no body welcome you, I think this is not **** stars hotel, (1st impression). (2) I have been allocated to room 145, and room which on 1st floor on very noisy street, This room with such noise, should not be allocated to guest and pay 93 E per night, I called the reception, and asked him about the Internet connection, he said that there is no Internet connection in the room, this is miss leading as the information on Holiday-in Athens says that there is a connection. They said I need to pay internet card to make the connection which is only in the reception area ( 5E for 15min). This is not clearly provided neither by the hotel home page nether by the reservation Holiday-in Athens. I think this is miss leading, (3) As the room is noisy, I requested to move the room to other quite one. So they accepted to move me from room 145 to room 148 which was indeed a quieter. A Bell boy come with a key and move me to other room, I gave him the key of the room 145 back. But it seems that I forgot some items, I brought from Japan to friends, around 8 Japanese Sweet boxes, when I asked the people on these missing boxes they said they found just one box. So body took them without declaring to the hotel management these are Forgotten Items. (4) I talked with the reception man Mr. Starvosk.. (as I remember) he was nice man, and ask me to wait for the Manager of the Hotel, who I waited for around 40 mins., Then I met the sales manger, he was with anger face mode, not friendly from the 1st impression. I told him on these missing items, and he said we found just one, and we returned it back to you what more you want he says.., He was not friendly, his wording is not as a sales manager but as man in agressive mode on people not to smooth the issues for guest satisfaction. So there is no any more missing items for me, and he suspectingly said to me that I left more than just this box in the room... I left this hotel with disappointing memories on the hotel performance, that reflects this is not 4* hotel that I use to stay. This is the 1st time to be in Greece and Athens.... May be this is the standards of the 4* hotels here in high season.., However, the above is my impression that coclude this is poor quality hotel..
