Extremely basic. No shower holder or curtain. Staff not particularly helpful. However, accommodation was centrally located (reasonably run-down area but central). Wouldn't necessarily recommend it. |

as I indicated in my previous mail, actually I was totally dissapointed with the hotel which has two stars. I have to say it does not deserve the word that in its name, "elite".
In the future I will be interested in your services, but not Hotel Elite |

People were friendly and it is very centrally located but the place was very noisy (could not sleep despite wearing ear plugs), being on the first floor on the busy Pireos road. The mattress had insects as well. They could not relocate me to another room so I had to depart 2 days earlier. Would not recommend this hotel.I amstill waiting to hear back from AThens holidays about reimbursing me |

Basic accomodation but value for money. Friendly staff. Very helpful regarding getting me a breakfast for an early start. |

Friendly staff. The place is mostly clean, though there where stains on the toilet when I first arrived. The elevator is often blocked. It's o.k. for the price. |

The price of 45 Euros per night is quite high for the extremely noisy hotel. The quality of the breakfast is low. The staff is friendly. |

Hotel Elite is a good place to stay. I would recommend it. It's not luxury laid on, but you get what you pay for. Other places in Athens are far too expensive, so if you need to do something in Athens this is a good place to stay. The location is also excellent. I walked to the Acropolis (20min) or to the national Archaelogical Museum (15 min). It's located near Omonia Square.
