The Hotel Byron was really too expensive for what one got. The room was very simple and small. The bathroom had no shower curtain around the shower. I was obviuosly paying for the view of the Acropolis, right outside my window and also the closeness to The Temple of Olympian Zues and Hadrian's Arch. The breakfast was good, but one had to pay 6 Euros more on top of the room price. For the first night I paid 90 Euros!! The second night I paid 50 Euros. Why the big difference? Really I would not stay here againnor would I encourage anyone else to.

We stayed 3 nights at the byron hotel, found it to be a good choice. Very friendly and helpful staff, location is excellent, very close to Plaka activity but on a relatively quiet street. Room was clean, large, bathroom adequate, and we had a great little balcony which gave us an awesome view fo the Acropolis.
