great night views, basic but clean and civilised  Guest Rating (70%)

a well-located, cheapish hotel. Pretty basic but clean, quiet and (malfunctionaning, temperamental?)airconditioner

Affordable and Convenient  Guest Rating (80%)

The Hotel Austria isn\\\'t the fanciest place in town, but the prices aren\\\'t as expensive as some of the downtown hotels, and it isn\\\'t a loud hostel. So, you do get your own room and bathroom, even if everything is bare bones. You will just be crashing here, so being by the base of the Acropolis is all you need! The staff is friendly and helpful.

double charged  Guest Rating (10%)

I inadvertnetly double booked using the Hotel Austria site and hotelathens. I stayed two night and have paid for three. The hotel refuses to make any adjustments. There is no view of the acropolis from the hotel and the front desk people act as if they have no control over what happens in the office. Would not stay there again.

worst hotel experience in Europe  Guest Rating (70%)

This is a 2 star accommodation and not a hotel, make sure you ask for a proper double bed because although we asked, we were given a small separate beds and changed it the next day, The photo does not do justice to this hotel at all. Rooms are very small and has a weird shower. It is close to acropolis but if you have luggage you need a taxi to get to bus or metro station

Hotel Austira O.K.  Guest Rating (80%)

The location is perfect, the staff was helpful, but a bit noisy inside - from the corridor to the room (also some activity at the reception - ?printer? - at midnight and later)
