i had specifically asked for a DOUBLE BED, as in ONE BED, NOT 2 beds put together.i did the booking through the agency and i was reassured that i was getting a double bed room. I then called myself the hotel and since am a GREEK speaking fluently greek i made EXTRA sure that i was getting a double bed room. I was told that check in is not until after 14.00 and since i had other things to take care of i checked in at 16.00.My fiance had just arrived from the USA and he was really tired asked for the keys...upon entering the room we realised we got the 2 beds put together kind of room and i was upset. Went downstairs and the only explanation was that THE DOUBLE ONES WERE ALREADY GIVEN!!!!!!!! what do u exactly mean are given, when i am PAYING FOR A DOUBLE BED NOT 2 SINGLE BEDS PUT TOGETHER, and the reservation was done IN GREEK????????????? Am i missing sth here? What time should i come for check in to get what i want anyway? NOT SATISFIED AT ALL!!!!!!

The hotel was not bad for the price we paid. The room was clean, it was close to Monastiraki station and surrounding attractions, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast wasn't phenomenal, but was enough to get your day started right. The hotel wasn't situated in the most attractive neighborhood, but it doesn't matter unless one plans on spending all day in the hotel. I would reccomend this hotel to a friend. It was convenient.

the hotel staff found for me 2 parking places.WiFi internet was good.The rooms OK.Not bad hotel.Everybody speaks English preaty good.Many more small bits.

The hotel is fine, modern and clean, nice view on acropolis. Breakfast is a little bit too ordinary. Corridors are a little bit noisy.

We stayed @ Evripides Twice!  Guest Rating (70%)
During the first leg of our vacation in Greece, we stayed @ Evripides. And then we returned for the last few days. the rooms are a little small but served its pupose. The breakfast buffet is a nice touch - on the roof with nice views. The only thing I would add is shower curtains.

Evripedes was a little different than the American hotels, but it was a nice little hotel - cozy. Overall it was an interesting experience.

euripides hotel-unacceptable to pay extra for air conditioning  Guest Rating (30%)
it's called cheating to write on the web page "air conditioning is included" and then discover at the hotel, after checking in and only when requesting fo the remote control for the air conditioner, thet youhave to pay an extra 5 euro per night. Evenmore considering it's Athens in august...not a good publicity for the hotel and the web site
