On arrival we were greeted by a very grumpy hotel manager. He was very rude and abrupt. Once in our \"triple room\" (double bed and small lounge as third bed).
The airconditioning remote was missing. We asked grumpy manager for the remote and he refused to give it to us saying it would cost us extra. After much debate we were given the remote and told if we used the aircon after 10pm he would come into our room and take the remote from us. (It was very hot and stuffy in the room at night).
There was no shower in our room just a half sized bath with a tap. It had little or sometimes no water pressure and often no hot water. The toilet had to be hand pumped to flush.
The pool was so murkey we couldn\'t see the bottom of it. It looked too dirty to swim in. There is simply no jacuzzi or hydromassage. The bar is unfinished so is not open.
Breakfast actually gave me food poisening (no im not exaggerating.) We were given no map or information about the island.
Other guests we spoke to said the air con in their rooms did not work.
DO NOT stay at this hotel. There are too many beautiful, friendly hotels to stay at on Santorini to waste your time and money on this joke. |
